As Jesus continues His prayer in John 17, He speaks about the people the Father has given Him and reveals what it means to truly belong to God. On the night before His betrayal and crucifixion, Jesus knows His disciples will fail Him, yet He speaks of them with love and confidence because their belonging is rooted in God's grace rather than their performance.
In this message, Pastor Kaynenn explores how Jesus reveals the Father to humanity and why we cannot discover God apart from His initiative. Our relationship with God begins with His grace, not our ability to find Him, understand Him, or make ourselves worthy of Him.

Every person is shaped by the people, experiences, and environments around them. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be intentional about what shapes us and who we become. In this message, Pastor Kaynenn explores how Christian formation happens through both godly community and the truth of God's Word.
When biblical revelation and godly emulation come together, God transforms the way we think and live. The gospel confronts the lies we have believed, restores what sin has distorted, and leads us into the freedom found in Jesus.
Christian formation is a lifelong journey of being shaped by Christ through His Word and His people.

In the second part of this two-part message, Pastor Mardochée Gaston continues exploring what it means to live a holy life and how believers are progressively transformed through sanctification.
While holiness is given to believers through faith in Jesus, sanctification is the lifelong process of becoming more like Christ. This work is empowered by the Holy Spirit, but it also calls believers to actively pursue growth rather than passively wait for change. We are not made perfect in this life, but God's work in us should lead to a life increasingly marked by obedience and less controlled by sin.
The call to holiness reaches beyond personal morality. A holy life is reflected in how we treat others, how we serve those in need, how we live in community, and how we represent Christ to the world. Sanctification is a lifelong journey, but it is also a journey with a promise: God will complete the good work He has begun in His people.
One day, that process will be complete. Sin will be gone, holiness will be perfected, and God's people will see His face and dwell in His presence forever.

What does it mean to be holy? In the first part of this two-part message, Pastor Mardochée Gaston explores the holiness of God and the calling He has given to every believer to pursue holiness in every area of life.
Holiness means being set apart for God while also being morally pure. God is completely unique, righteous, and perfect in His holiness, and Scripture repeatedly calls us to recognize the weight and majesty of who He is. Stories throughout Scripture, from Isaiah's encounter with God to Moses at the burning bush, remind us that God's holiness is not something to approach casually or take lightly.
The call to holiness is not reserved for pastors or spiritual leaders. Every follower of Jesus is called to reflect God's holiness in their thoughts, words, actions, and choices. As those who have been set apart and made God's temple through the presence of the Holy Spirit, we are called to live in reverence of God and pursue holiness without compromise.

As Jesus continues His prayer in John 17, His focus expands beyond His immediate disciples to every believer who would come to faith through their message. Knowing the suffering and death He is about to face, Jesus prays for His people, revealing His deep love, care, and commitment to those who belong to Him.
In this message, Pastor Kaynenn explores Jesus’ prayer for the unity of His church. This unity is not based on shared preferences, backgrounds, politics, or culture, but on a shared relationship with Christ. As believers draw closer to Jesus, they are drawn closer to one another, creating a unity that becomes a powerful witness to the world.
The prayer of Jesus in John 17 gives us a picture of the kind of church He desires: united in Him, sustained by His presence, grounded in His glory, and living as a witness to the world.

As Jesus continues His prayer for His disciples in John 17, He asks the Father to sanctify them in the truth. In this message, Pastor Kaynenn explores what sanctification really means and why it is about far more than simply becoming a better person.
To be sanctified is to be set apart for a sacred purpose. Jesus Himself set Himself apart as the perfect sacrifice so that His followers could be set apart and sent into the world as His ambassadors. Our transformation begins not simply with knowing more about Scripture, but with encountering Jesus, the living Word, through the truth God has revealed.
The Christian life is not ultimately about worldly success, personal achievement, or simply becoming a better version of ourselves. We have been set apart for something greater: to know Jesus, reflect His glory, and faithfully proclaim the good news of what He has done.

As Pillar Church celebrates seven years of God's faithfulness, guest speaker Jim Essian reflects on the church's journey while looking ahead to what God has in store. Drawing from Jesus' message to the church in Philadelphia in Revelation 3, this encouraging message reminds us that God often does His greatest work through people who recognize their dependence on Him.
Jesus declares that He alone holds the key that opens doors no one can shut. Though the church in Philadelphia was small and seemingly weak, they remained faithful to God's Word and steadfast in proclaiming His name. Their dependence on Christ became the very foundation of their strength.
Whether you're part of Pillar Church or simply looking for encouragement to trust God with what's next, this message is a powerful reminder that our greatest opportunities begin with complete dependence on Christ.

As Jesus prepares for the cross, He prays one of the most personal and powerful prayers recorded in Scripture. In John 17, we see Christ's heart for His disciples as He asks the Father to protect them, preserve their faith, and keep them united after His departure.
In this message, we walk through Jesus's prayer and what it means for believers today. We also explore the contrast between Peter and Judas, the danger of false gospels, and the assurance that those who belong to Christ are securely held in His hands.
